Children's Ministry

At Grace, we believe children are one of God’s greatest blessings to all of us. We have awesome programs for kids of all ages that will teach them about Jesus in a fun and safe environment.

All those who work with Children and Youth have passed a background check and are certified through Ministry Safe training.
Nursery/Preschool - Nursery care is provided to children ages 6 weeks-Kindergarten by our trained, professional childcare staff. The nursery is open for Sunday morning worship services and Sunday school as well as church events as needed. At 10:00AM on Sunday morning, the children in the nursery enjoy a time of Bible learning and singing.
Elementary - Our elementary-aged children have the opportunity to play, learn, and grow together in a wide variety of ways. GPC kids participate in mission activities, learn about the Bible in fun ways and even explore their creative gifts. There are many opportunities for them to share those gifts with the congregation.
​Sunday School- Sunday School meets September – May at 9:45 a.m., with two classes meeting: Kindergarten - 3rd Grade and 4th & 5th grade. Both classes use the wonderful Presbyterian curriculum: Feasting on The Word, a multi-age curriculum that explores the Bible through art, music, reading the Word, drama and prayer. We hope you will make Sunday school and important routine in your child’s life!
Children's Bulletins
Sunday Morning Worship: Children of all ages are welcome in our worship services! Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them for theirs in the Kingdom of God.” On Sunday mornings we offer Children’s Worship bags, located just before entering the Sanctuary. A Children’s Moment is also a part of each worship service, where children are invited forward to listen to a Pastor and/or Layleaders provide a special message. There will also be several times throughout the year that our children lead in worship.
LOGOS Children’s Program - The LOGOS ministry, is a mid-week proram open to children currently in 1st through 5th
grade. The spring semester runs from February 4 thru May 13 (excluding Feb 18, Mar 18 and Apr 1) and meets at the church on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7PM. Dinner is included.
The LOGOS program consists of four main spiritual formation rotations: Bible Lesson, Crafts or Games, Music and Worship and Sharing a Meal Together! Each semester, the focus is on a new scripture or theological idea. For more information contact the church office at 254.773.2134. ​​Register at the link below.
Parent’s Night Out is offered once a month Childcare is available for children 6 weeks through 5th grade. Reservations are required. To register, or for more information, contact the church office at office@gpctemple.org or by phone at 254.773.2134, or register below.
PNO breaks for the months of June, July, and August to allow our workers to have a summer break, and resumes in September.
