Presbyterian churches are governed by a body of elected elders, usually called the Session. Each year, a new class is elected to the Session of Grace Presbyterian Church, serving a three-year term; the church may elect a youth representative who serves a one-year term. This rotation schedule provides for both continuity and fresh input.
