Our staff is a group of dedicated individuals who serve Grace Presbyterian Church with care, creativity, and faith. Each person brings unique gifts and experience to our shared ministry, working together to support worship, nurture spiritual growth, and care for our congregation and community. We are grateful for their commitment and the many ways they help make Grace a welcoming and vibrant place to grow in faith.

Dr. Jonathan Gary
Organist
Dr. Jonathan Gary serves as our organist, bringing beauty, reverence, and musical excellence to our worship services. Through his skillful playing and thoughtful musical leadership, he helps guide the congregation in worship and enriches the sacred atmosphere of our sanctuary.

Amy Graner
Office Administrator
Amy Graner serves as our Office Administrator, helping keep the daily life and ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church organized, connected, and running smoothly. Often considered the “glue” between staff, leadership, members, and visitors, Amy supports communication, coordination, and the many behind-the-scenes details that help our church thrive.

Jane Nance
Child Care Coordinator
Jane Nance serves faithfully in our nursery ministry, providing loving care and a welcoming presence for the youngest members of Grace Presbyterian Church. With many years of experience in early childhood education and a heart for children, Jane helps create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment for our little ones during worship and church activities.

Tempy Brown
Child Care
Tempy serves as one of our nursery attendants at Grace Presbyterian Church, offering kind, dependable, and caring support for the youngest members of our church family. With years of experience in childcare, she helps provide a safe and welcoming space where children are cared for with patience, warmth, and attention.

Chelsea Stern
Minister of Music
Chelsea Stern marked her 10th year as Music Minister at Grace Presbyterian Church in October 2025. Chelsea is a Temple native and grew up at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Temple. A life-long musician, Chelsea also serves the community as a music teacher and voice lesson instructor.

Emily Gary
Pianist / Accompianist
Emily Gary serves as our pianist, sharing her musical gifts to help lead and support our worship services. Through her thoughtful and beautiful playing, she enhances the music ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church and helps create a meaningful worship experience for our congregation.

Katherine Krska
Finance Administrator
Katherine Krska serves as the Finance Administrator of Grace Presbyterian Church, overseeing the financial details that help support the daily life and long-term ministry of the church. Her role requires great accuracy, discretion, and trust, as she helps ensure that church finances are handled responsibly, securely, and with care.

Lynn Grant
Child Care
Lynn serves as one of our nursery attendants at Grace Presbyterian Church, offering loving care, patience, and a familiar presence for the youngest members of our church family. With a background in education and many years of faithful service at Grace, Lynn helps create a warm and welcoming space where children are cared for and families feel supported.

Adele Parker
Sexton
Adele Parker serves as the Sexton of Grace Presbyterian Church, caring for the building and grounds that make our church feel welcoming, peaceful, and ready for worship each week. Her work touches nearly every part of church life, from maintaining the sanctuary and shared spaces to helping ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, organized, and prepared for the many ministries, gatherings, and special events that take place at Grace.

Josh Essary
Handbell Ensemble Director
Before leading our ensemble, Josh spent the first nine years of his career as a middle school band director and served for five years as the Handbell Director at First United Methodist Church in Temple, TX. This extensive background in music education drives his belief that handbells are accessible to everyone. He ensures that no prior instrumental experience is needed to join the fun.

John Mark Gary
A/V Technician
John Mark Gary serves as our A/V Technician, faithfully overseeing the sound and video needs for our worship services. He manages our livestreams to the church website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel, while also handling technical needs and troubleshooting in the sanctuary.

Natasha Slaughter
Director of Christian Education
Natasha serves as our Director of Christian Education Ministries, helping lead and support faith formation for children, youth, and families at Grace Presbyterian Church. Through ministries such as Sunday School, LOGOS, Vacation Bible School, and youth programs, she helps create meaningful opportunities for our young people to learn, grow, and experience God’s love.

Kimberly Allen
Child Care
Kimberly serves as one of our nursery attendants at Grace Presbyterian Church, providing care, patience, and a joyful presence for the youngest members of our church family. With many years of experience in childcare, she helps create a safe, welcoming, and loving environment where children can feel comfortable and families can feel confident.
