MEALS ON WHEELS
"As members of Grace, we are called to be God’s heart, hands, and voice as servants of Jesus Christ - reaching beyond our walls to meet human need in our community."
Grace Presbyterian Church currently serves 20 individuals - the maximum we can support at this time due to staffing limitations and rising food costs.
Each Tuesday, each recipient receives both a hot meal and a cold meal pack. The hot meal includes approximately 6–8 ounces of protein, one cup of vegetables, and a starch such as rice, pasta, or potatoes, providing enough food for two meals. The cold meal pack includes bread, two cartons of milk, two pieces of fruit, a green salad, two desserts, and a frozen casserole, also sufficient for two meals.

During the winter months, a warm soup and cornbread are added to help meet seasonal needs.

This ministry is supported entirely by volunteers, and at times we experience shortages in helping hands. If you feel called to serve, there are many opportunities to get involved - including cooking and cold-packing teams, salad and soup makers, frozen casserole and cornbread teams, dessert bakers, monthly milk pickup teams from Belton, and drivers who deliver meals each Tuesday.
Our cooks and drivers are deeply committed, maintain strong relationships with recipients, and continue to serve faithfully as long as the need exists.
